What kind of equipment do you have?

Caleidoscope Mobile DJ has invested a great amount of time and money to provide you with the best service and the best equipment.

Do you have back up equipment?

Yes we do! Our professional equipment has never failed us, but we don't want your event to be the first. We bring a backup for everything. From a back up amplifier to a back up computer to a back up power supply that can be used outside in case of a power failure. We are prepared!

 1500 watt system.

This provides a large full sound for any size event. This sound system is loud enough to rock the party and quite enough for soft background music.

 PC Music System

While most places are still boasting that they are all 100% CD, Caleidoscope Mobile DJ is the pioneer in the Treasure Valley of the PC Music System.  With our PC Music System we can change the speed of the music  giving us the ability to make a song that has a moderate tempo like the "B52's- Love Shack" play a little faster, making  it more fun to dance to. We can also find songs for you in a matter of seconds, and if somebody bumps the table it won't skip.

 

 Cordless Microphone

Having a cordless microphone is more for your benefit then ours. You are more than welcome to borrow our cordless microphone to use for everything from the best man's toast to a presentation. During a ceremony, one can be worn for the officiant and another can be used for a reading. Both microphones are included with no extra charge.

 Light Show

Caleidoscope Mobile DJ doesn't go crazy with fog, confetti and bubble machines like some other service. It is our opinion that too many lights and effects are more annoying and less fun. We provide quality lighting effects that are more than enough to fill the dance floor at no no extra charge.

  • Equipment Variations
  • Every event has different requirements for space and our equipment has the flexibility to fit in most locations. Here are some examples:

Boise Depot. This was a daytime event and no lights were needed. This system is set up for dancing and another system is set up front for the ceremony.

C.W. Moore Plaza. Standard system with lights.  Event was on patio and there was rain in the afternoon. Event was scheduled to go late into the evening and lights were used.

 

Banbury Gold Club. Very small set up was needed because most of the space was used by tables. Extra speakers were set up inside as well. No lights were used because event ended before it was dark. Tables were moved after meal for dancing.
