How long has Caleidoscope Mobile DJ been in business?

Caleidoscope Mobile DJ has been in business right here in Idaho  since 1994. That's longer than almost half of the disc jockeys you'll find in the phone book, and half of those will be gone in couple of years. Remember  Flying J. Bird, Sailcat, A Professional Touch, Sound Of The Sierras, Kinsel's, Sounds Good, TLC, Professional Sound, Fields Productions, Midnight Audio, and Music Man? These are just some of the business that have come and gone in just the last couple of years. With Caleidoscope Sound Entertainment you don't have to worry if we are going to still be in business by the time you have your special occasion.   We have an excellent reputation of service and quality because we are always on time, always professional, and 100% committed to you and your needs.  We were here yesterday, we're here now, and we'll be here tomorrow.

What type of event's do you specialize in?

Caleidoscope Mobile DJ specializes in weddings. With over a thousand successful weddings, we know how to help you have the best wedding possible. Some places specialize in either "everything" or other things like Karaoke, astrojumps, high school proms, DVD Video's,  etc. We just do weddings,  and a  couple of corporate holiday parties in December. This means we have had every type of situation in a wedding and what to suggest for yours.   We are the wedding experts.  Always professional, on time, courteous, and receptive to your needs.

Don't all disc Jockeys just play music?

Yes this it true. Everyone can just play music, but Caleidoscope Mobile DJ  knows what kind of music is appropriate for your group. We come to every event with all our music and an open mind for each group. Some groups like more oldies, or 80's,  or   county, or disco and so on. We are in tune with the audience and play the music they want to hear.

Sometimes, you will get a DJ service that is just playing a lot of  junk and  just doesn't understand what to do to get the crowd dancing. We do, and you will notice the difference.

Are you a full time service?

When you hear the phrase "full time" you think Monday-Friday working 40 hours a week. But, because weddings are usually  on Saturdays,  you may only work 3-6 hours a week.   During the busy season we have a wedding every weekend, and at least 2-3 weddings a month during the slow season. So, if you are doing a wedding every weekend, that is as busy as you can be. We really think the phrase "full time disk jockey service" means "we are going to charge a lot of money. "  More details are on the rates page why we don't  use catch phrases to give you great   prices.
